Interdisciplinary Studies is an important field that is even more crucial with the current state of the world and its various issues. With Interdisciplinary Studies, we are able to look within different disciplines and their perspectives and integrate them in our studies and research to obtain a better or more comprehensive understanding.

 

This is important in many fields, such as the field of linguistics, because of the different disciplines that need to be acknowledged in order to properly research a variety of issues. My studies in Behavioral & Social Sciences, Education, and Linguistics, have allowed me to better understand those areas and how they are connected to one another.

 

With this interdisciplinarity, I have acquired various skills and learned various methods that will help me in my career by allowing me to view issues in different perspectives and how to properly integrate those perspectives to find a solution.
